MoleMixr

Molarity, dilutions, and solution recipes in seconds. The lab calculator that lives in the phone already in your glove.

MoleMixr

Every wet-lab scientist does the same handful of calculations a dozen times a day, and every one of them is an opportunity to drop a factor of a thousand. How many grams for 50 mL of a 2 M stock? What volume of that stock gets you 10 mL at 100 mM? What does the serial dilution series look like if you need six points down to 1 µM?

MoleMixr does all of it. Molarity from mass, mass from molarity, C₁V₁ = C₂V₂ dilutions, serial dilution series, plus full solution recipes, all on-device in seconds.

Molarity, both directions

Grams to molar, molar to grams, with molecular weight and target volume. Units handled so you cannot silently drop a factor of 1,000.

Dilutions and series

Single-step C₁V₁ = C₂V₂, plus full serial dilution series with the volume you need at every step.

Recipes you can reuse

Save the solutions you make constantly. Pull up the recipe instead of re-deriving it at the balance every time.

The mistakes it is designed to prevent

Unit errors are the most common and the most expensive mistakes in solution prep, and they are almost never caught by a second glance. A millimolar written where a micromolar belonged looks perfectly reasonable on paper. MoleMixr makes the units explicit at every step, so an order-of-magnitude slip has to survive being displayed back to you before it reaches the bench.

The second mistake is the one that happens in your head while you are also watching a timer, holding a pipette, and answering a question from across the room. That calculation should not be done from memory. It should be done once, correctly, and saved.

Same philosophy as SpliTTime

No account, no subscription, no network calls, nothing leaving your device. A tool that respects a scientist’s attention does one job and gets out of the way. See SpliTTime, its companion for cell culture timing.
